Driving a Campervan around Seattle

  • SR 520 Floating Bridge, SR 99 Tunnel, and I-405 express toll lanes charge electronic tolls. A Good To Go pass provides the lowest rate.

  • Seattle prohibits overnight parking of vehicles wider than 80 inches on most streets from midnight to 06:00, so use a campsite or county camping ground.

  • Park and Ride at Northgate Station has large vehicle parking spaces and Link light rail reaches the city centre in about 15 minutes.
  • Fuel, fresh water taps, and waste disposal points are located at service stations on I-5 near Federal Way and on I-90 at North Bend.

Can I travel from the US to Canada in my hired motorhome?

This depends on the company. Several suppliers will allow you to travel to Canada in your hire vehicle, including Road Bear, El Monte, Cruise America, Escape Rentals, Campervan North America and Travellers Autobarn (Canada entry fee applies).

Please contact support for information on other suppliers. You must comply with visa and customs requirements at all times.
