However, if the RV is large (e.g. over 45 feet long or you're towing something weighing more than 10,000 pounds), a special or commercial license may be required. The minimum age to rent an RV is typically 25 years old. Additionally, you must have a full, unrestricted driver's license with no more than three at-fault accidents or minor driving convictions in the past three years.
