• Tourist spending in San Francisco reached $8.83 billion in 2023, an 18.3% increasecompared to the previous year but around 8% below 2019.
• International overnight visitors spent $4.64 billion, domestic overnight visitors contributed $2.75 billion and day trippers spent $1.44 billion.

• 26.21 million tourists visited San Francisco in 2019. 7.48 million were domestic overnight visitors, 2.95 million were international overnight visitors and 15.78 million were day visitors.
• Total visitor spending reached $9.56 billion. International overnight visitors spent $5.11 billion, domestic overnight visitors contributed $3.18 billion and day visitors spent $1.27 billion.
