Aparcament d'autocaravanes is the local Catalan term for a dedicated RV parking area. These are marked parking areas with water and waste disposal points plus a nightly fee of roughly €10–20.
Much of the land in Spain is privately owned and permission must be granted if you wish to spend the night there.
Spain has designated areas for RVs where you can spend a night without cost.
In addition, there are plenty of campsites starting at around €9 ($9 USD) per night.
All drivers must have a current and full driver’s license to rent a vehicle. For foreign licenses, an IDP (International Drivers Permit) is also required.
