Driving an RV around Split

The A1 highway passes Dugopolje; use the Dugopolje exit for Split. A class II RV pays approximately €27 in tolls when driving from Zagreb to this point.
The Old Town area around Diocletian's Palace does not allow motor vehicles. Use the large parking lot beside Poljud Stadium for day parking instead.
Overnight parking on streets inside the city limits is not allowed. Choose an official campground or RV stop.
Port traffic is heavy in summer. Arrive at least one hour before ferry departures to Brač, Hvar, or Vis.
LPG (Autoplin) fuel stations are available along the D8 coastal highway but are rare on the nearby islands. Plan to refuel before taking a ferry.
